The Scientific Advisory Team works with the mandate of providing research-based, client-focused support with innovative and effective weight loss options to ensure healthy and happy clients. Our key member: Kiran Basra B.Sc. Phm., Doctor of Pharmacy
Dr. Basra is a registered pharmacist, a graduate of the University of Toronto. She has obtained her Doctorate in Pharmacy with a specialty in Health Economics. She has served a number of roles including Government and Economic Affairs within the pharmaceutical industry as well as Retail Pharmacy Operations. Dr. Basra has a keen interest in improving patient quality of life, optimizing the value of health economics and has pursued an active role in weight management. She also guest lectures at various academic settings.

Steven Small DDS, BSc Anaesthesiology, FADSA, Dip NBDA
Dr. Small is a graduate of the University of Toronto with Doctor of Dental Surgery and Anaesthesiology degrees. He also serves as an Associate Professor of Anaesthesia at the University of Toronto and as contributing editor of Dentaletter. He previously has served as Spokesman for Anaesthesia and Pain Control, Founding Chairman, Anaesthesia Committee, Founding Member, Professional Development Committee, and Toronto Governor, Board of Governors.

Leora Marcovitz MD
Dr. Marcovitz is a graduate of the University of Toronto Medical School. In addition to being on staff at Humber Regional and North York Branson/North York General Hospitals, Dr. Marcovitz has been in private practice in the GTA for more than 25 years. Her specialty areas include women’s health, weight reduction, health and wellness and sports medicine.
